I am currently looking for a way to replace floating tables with inline tables. I have tried migrating rows, and migrating cells to no avail. Is there a way to re-build a floating tables members in an inline table so you can remove the floating table?

Thanks for your request. There is no direct way to achieve what you need. But I think you can try removing row formatting for each row in the table. Please see the following link:

I have tried this, and it does not stop the table from floating. We’ve found another work-around for our issue until Words supports floating tables.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-581) have been fixed in this .NET update and in this Java update.
