Removing colon between empty MERGEFIELDs

Word has a feature where you can surround a colon with two merge fields and if both fields are empty then it will also remove the colon. Example:

{ MERGEFIELD Option_1 }: { MERGEFIELD Option_1_Denial_Reason }

If both Option_1 and Option_1_Denial_Reason are empty then word will also remove the white space and colon between the two fields. I tried running a document through Aspose with this setup and the colons were left in the document. Is there something additional I need to do to get Aspose to use this feature?
