We are using Aspose.PDF 17.1.0.0 in our Scrub product to remove the following document properties:
Title
Author
Subject
Keywords
Create, Modified dates are reset at time of Scrub and…
Application and PDF Producer are set to Aspose Ltd and Aspose.PDF for .NET 17.1.0 respectively.
When I scrub a PDF with a Title and Author in the document properties and send it to a client with who has Nuance PDF we can still see these properties.
However, if the PDF is viewed in Adobe DC Reader the properties have been cleared. Only Nuance displays the properties that were removed by your driver.
Therefore, my question is are there different areas of a PDF that could hold this document property information? If so, which document properties is Aspose targeting for removal.
If you have access to Nuance this can be reproduced.

When we create a PDF with Aspose.Pdf for .NET API and open with the notepad, we can find occurrences of said properties only one time. However, if the Nuance displays the properties that were removed by the Aspose.Pdf for .NET API, then this may be a bug. Kindly download and try the latest version 17.8 of Aspose.Pdf for .NET API and let us know how that goes into your environment. If this does not work as expected, then kindly send us the complete details of the use case, including source PDF and code snippet. We will investigate and share our findings with you.
