Replacing tabs with spaces for layout

What would be the best way to replace tab characters with the correct number of spaces before saving a document as Text? We are sending text reports to a system that cannot handle the tabs. Thanks!

Thanks for your inquiry.

Are you able to use tables instead of tabstops? If so then you may have some success with the TxtSaveOptions.PreserveTableLayout option. Otherwise it's very hard to predict the equivalent space in Txt format when working with tabstops.
