Generally incase of recurring tasks, the resource name does not repeat at each occurrence especially when parent task is NOT in the expanded state. Behavior is consistent in both MPP as well PDF generated out of MS Project.
But Aspose Tasks doesn’t follow this, when we keep the resource names in this case, all texts get jumbled up, looks very weird.
Am wondering if there is any way to hide resource name for recurring tasks (when parent task is non-expended).
I was able to observe this issue at my end and have logged it as TASKS-33732 for further investigation by our development team. Once there is some information available in this regard, we’ll update you here via this thread.
As you may see from the status of the ticket, the issue has already been fixed. Therefore, it is not required to move it to Enterprise support. The fix for this issue will be available in the upcoming version of Aspose.Tasks for Java 7.0.0. We’ll update you here once the version is available for download.
