RTF import in Aspose.Words for Java

Hello,

on your website (https://docs.aspose.com/words/net/supported-document-formats/) is told, that RTF support in Aspose.Words for Java is planned for Q3 2008.

I would like to ask you, whether this feature is completely done and what is the planned release date.

Thanks for your interest in Aspose.Words for java. Unfortunately RTF format is not supported in java version of Aspose.Words. The estimate was pushed.
Currently we work on porting DOCX import module from .NET baseline. This will take few months. After finishing this work we will work on porting other modules from .NET baseline.
So RTF will be supported in Aspose.Words for Java somewhere in 2009.
If you need to work with RTF document you can try using .NET version of Aspose.Words instead Java version.

Thanks for your request. I cannot tell exact data when RTF will be supported in Aspose.Words for Java. Hopefully, it will be supported in 2-4 months.
PDF will take more time. Most likely PDF will be supported in the second half of this year.

We are happy to tell you that the new version of Aspose.Words for Java was released. Support of Rtf and Odt formats were added in this release!

We are happy to inform you that the first auto-ported version of Aspose.Words for Java is ready. This version supports converting documents to PDF. You can get it from here.
