RTF to Doc conversion generates corrupt document using .NET

Hi,

One of our users has reported a problem whereby our program, using the Aspose converters, can end up creating .doc files that won’t open in Word. For .doc, .docx and .odt export, our program creates an RTF file in a temporary location and then calls the Aspose converters to convert this RTF file to the format selected by the user. This has always worked fine so far, but now this user has found one instance where it fails. I’ve attached the problematic RTF file. To test it out, just use Aspose.Words for Java to convert the attached RTF file to .doc format, then try opening the resultant .doc file in Word. In Word 2011 for the Mac, I get the following error:

“Word was unable to open this document. It may be corrupt…”

Aspose converts the same file to .docx and .odt formats without any problems.

Thanks and all the best,

Keith

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-6413) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
