RTF to XPS conversion generates junk characters using .NET

Hi,
I have an issue with RTF conversion process. Today, i tried convert to .xps an
RTF file that i created using TextEdit (a text editor for the
Mac). The file that resulted from the conversion was badly formatted and
contained junk characters. I opened in MS Word and the results were
almost identical to the poorly converted file. I then tried several other
text editors and the first one that opened the file correctly formatted was MS
WordPad
If i open this up as regular text (not RTF) so that i can see the RTF encoding in the file, the first line of the file contains {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\cocoartf1038\cocoasubrtf360" } .
Have you got any ideas how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Vasyl,

Thanks for your query. I have exported the shared RTF to XPS and have not found any issue while using latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET. Please use the latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET. Please find the exported XPS file in attachment and let us know if you have any more queries.

Hi, Tahir
Thank you for reply.
The attached file Example.rtf has some formatting. You will see it, you you will open that document by MS WordPad. If you will open the attached document by MS Office Word the formatting will be wrong. Your converted file “AsposeOut.xps” also has wrong formatting.
You can look at original file in attached screenshot to this reply.

Thank you,
Vasyl.

Hi Vasyl,

Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Words do. If you convert
your document to XPS by using MS Word and Aspose.Words, you will get the same output.

Hope this answers your query. Please let us know if you have any more queries.
