Hello,
I’ve tried the jt to obj converter using python (import aspose.threed as a3d) and it works for some jt files but for others I get this error: RuntimeError: Proxy error(ImportException): Cannot open this file.
Any idea what this means and how to fix it?
@elyousa
We have fixed some JT-related issues in recent releases. However, for some JT files with version 10, you may still encounter this kind of exception. Is it possible to share the file with us for further investigation?
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I can’t share the file. How do I check the jt file version? ON JT2Go it says TK version 9.0
@elyousa
Have you tried the latest version? It’s also possible that your tool uses some plugins that are not supported by Aspose.3D.
It may take a bit longer to investigate this issue without a file that can reproduce it. I have created a ticket for this, and we’ll let you know once it’s fixed.
