Hi Vassanthakumar,

From the specifics of ticket id BARCODENET-33825, the quality of this barcode image is quite bad. Could you please supply us a better quality image? Please also tell us, how you are generating it. We need your input, so that we may help you in generating the quality barcode.

Hi Imran,

A short overview of client process to generate barcode:

1. Printing barcodes on stickers with a Citizen CL-S700.

2. Sticking the printed barcode on documents, mostly in A4 format (210 x 297 mm).

3. Scanning of documents in 300 dpi BLACK/WHITE tiff format – we’re using NGenuity 9000 scanners with VRS drivers.

Herewith i attached the sample barcode for that image.

Thanks,

Vasanthakumar

Hi Vasanthakumar,

Thank you for providing a better quality document. We have tested it against the latest builds of Aspose.BarCode 6.9.0 and Aspose.Pdf 10.3.0. We can recognize all barcodes as follows:

[.NET, C#]
int pageIndex = 0;

// bind the pdf
PdfConverter converter =
new PdfConverter();
converter.BindPdf(@“C:\AB\test378\DOC00000010.pdf”);

converter.RenderingOptions.BarcodeOptimization =
true;
converter.DoConvert();

while (converter.HasNextImage())
{

pageIndex++;

MemoryStream pageStream =
new MemoryStream();
converter.GetNextImage(pageStream, ImageFormat.Png);

using (BarCodeReader reader = new BarCodeReader(pageStream, BarCodeReadType.Interleaved2of5))
{

while (reader.Read())
{

Console.WriteLine(“Page#” + pageIndex + " Code Text: " + reader.GetCodeText() + " Type: " + reader.GetReadType());

}

}

}

Results:
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400566 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400569 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400568 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400570 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400567 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400565 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400563 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400571 Type: Interleaved2of5
Page#1 Code Text: 6011400564 Type: Interleaved2of5

Please check it with the latest builds and let us know how it goes on your side.
