I am getting error trying to open excel file generated from xls template file. I open template file, insert data to named ranges, and save file to alternate path via stream. When I tried to open the new file, I get an erro that file is “Open for Editing” by another process. .NET web service is creating file. I also can not delete file, and I have even restarted machine and still getting file locking errors in windows explorer and excel. Please HELP!!
