Hi. I’ve got a Word 2003 doc that has the following merge fields repeated for mailing labels,
«fullName»
«ID»
«birthDate»
However, when merged, the birthDate shows up with the time added to it like “01/01/1970 12:00:00 A.M.” It needs to just show the date and not the time. The data’s coming from an Oracle 9i procedure which already has the trunc() function. The birth date shows fine elsewhere on the ASP.NET page, but somehow Word converts it to the long format. Thanks.
