Showing unrecognized character rectangle instead of some characters like ":" using B Nazanin font while replacing merge fields

If I use “:” with B Nazanin font in MS Word, there’s no problem showing it like the second line in t4.pdf.
But when I apply B Nazanin font on a merge field the result will be like the first line in t4.pdf.

What’s the best way to correct this or at least work around this?
