Simple .ppt file errors on open

So now that we have updated to .net Aspose Slides and it does not seem to tolerate old format .ppt files. Since I cannot review documentation, can anyone tell me why something like this would not work? We are using the latest download from Aspose - dll is version 14.5.0.0

and doing this very simple code

Dim pres As Aspose.Slides.Presentation

pres = New Aspose.Slides.Presentation(FullPathToFile)


All we want to do is convert .ppt to .pdf

It should not be this hard after an update.
