I attached a compressed file with the following.
A sample PPTX that fails to render an image on the first slide, but instead renders a grey box in the upper left corner of the slide when Aspose.Slides 5.7.0 for .NET is used to export the PPTX.
The second slide has text in the upper right corner of the slide that for some odd reason renders the text upsidedown.
There is also a folder that shows what the correct images should look like, but they only export correctly if exported from PowerPoint. I used PowerPoint 2007 to export the slides to PDF, GIF, PNG & TIFF.
I also included a sample application and exported images from PowerPoint 2007 (which exported the images correctly).
Please fix these issues and notify me when they have been resolved.
Thanks
Hi John,
I have worked with the presentation file shared by you and have been able to observe the issue shrared by you. An issue with ID 32577 has been created to resolve the issue of grey box appearing on top left corner and a separate issue with ID 32578 has been created to resolve the issue of up side down text for the shape on slide 2. We will share the information with you as soon as the issue is resolved.
We are sorry for your inconvenience,
FYI: I still get the same behavior with the new release of ASPOSE.Slides for .NET 5.8.0.
Hi John,
I like to share that issues 32577 and 32578 have been recently added in our issue tracking system. I have requested our development team to schedule the issues for investigation. As soon as the issue will be resolved, you will be automatically notified.
Many Thanks,
Slide export to image render issues ASPOSE.Slides 5.8.0 for .NET
I have another PowerPoint that renders thumbnails that are missing many areas.
I think a coworker put this slide deck together by pasting in images, but most of the slides just don't render when ASPOSE.Slides ver5.8.0 for .NET 4 full is used.
Please see my attached compressed file, which contains the source PowerPoint and what the slides should look like when exported from Aspose (These images were exporteddirectly from PowerPoint 2007).
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other information.
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
I am sorry for the delayed response. I have worked with the presentation file shared by you using .NET 4 version dll of Aspose.Slides for .NET 5.8.0. I have been able to reproduce the issue and an issue with ID SLIDESNET-33129 has been created in our issue tracking system to further investigate and resolve the issue. I will share the further information with you as soon as the issue will be resolved.
We are sorry for your inconvenience,
Please note that I get the exact same behavior with ASPOSE.Slides for .NET 6.0.0.
This issue is preventing me from using my TOTAL license as this is the most important feature of the suite that we utilize.
We need this fixed ASAP or we will need a refund.
There are other uses that we would like to use your suite for, but until this issue is fixed we cannot release a version of the software until the export rendering images are fixed and there is no point for us to use any other methods. This is especially true if the issues that we report are not fixed in a timely manner. At this rate my license is going to expire before I can reliably use the export feature that I purchased the ASPOSE suite for.
Please update me ASAP with the status and any options regarding extending our licence period.
Thank you
John Virga

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. I have requested our development team to share the updated response on the status of the issues shared. Clearly, these issues have not been resolved in Aspose.Slides for .NET 6.0.0 and that is why you are unable to observe them the same. I will share the response with you as soon as it will be shared by our development team.
