SmartArt graphic in Microsoft Word 2007 document deleted during save

Using Aspose.Words version 9.3.0.0 with VB.NET Framework 1.1:

I am a developer and we are using Aspose.Words objects to update custom document properties containing revision and other document metadata from our database and update fields referencing those document properties when opening documents from our software.

The triangle image on the top of page 3 in the attached document, created with SmartArt in Microsoft Word 2007, is being deleted during a ‘Save’ call to an Aspose.Words object.

We are using a fully licensed version with a current support agreement.

I should have looked first, but just saw SmartArt is supported in version 9.4.0.0. I will download and check this.

Thanks for your request. Could you please clarify, do you save your document to the same document format or try to convert to other format? Also could you please try using the latest version of Aspose.Words (9.5.0). You can download the latest version from here:
