We are having below issues in table styles. Please find attachment html and css file for the same.

1. Border width =7 is not coming on exported document.
2. Cell spacing is not getting applied.
3. Width is not getting applied.
4. valign is not working in exported document.
5. Bottom border for many table is not visible on 100%, but visble when zoom in.

6. Sometimes complete table border is not coming.

7. Extra space is coming in between table caption and table body

Quick reply will be highly appreciated.

Hi Sandeep,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Word does. It's mean that if you open the html in MS Word and convert it to Docx/Pdf, you will get the same output as generated by Aspose.Words.

We have exported the shared html into Docx using latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET 16.5.0 and have attached it with this post for your reference. Could you please share some more detail about your issues? Please add comments in problematic tables in attached document. We will investigate the issue on our side and provide you more information. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Sandeep,

Thanks for sharing the detail. We have tested the scenario using shared html and have managed to reproduce the table's border and cell spacing issues at our end. For the sake of correction, we have logged these problems in our issue tracking system as WORDSNET-13860 and WORDSNET-13861. You will be notified via this forum thread once these issues are resolved. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Could you please share all .css files used in your html document for remaining issues? We will investigate the issues and provide you more information about your queries.

Thanks Tahir for looking into this issue.

Could you please provide the ETA when this issue will be fixed and available? I have let my development team know as they are waiting on it.

Regarding WORDSNET-13861, we regret to share with you that this issue has been postponed due to missing feature WORDSNET-4794 (Support cell spacing in layout) which is related to your issue. I tried with 17.1 but instead of cellspacing and cellpadding, it shows single border.

@B_D,

Thanks for your inquiry. The WORDSNET-13860 was about table’s border width that is not exported in output document. Could you please share some more detail about your query along with input, output and expected output document? We will then provide you more information about your query.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-13861) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 23.12 update also available on NuGet.
