Some problem when convert to PDF

Hi,


I need to find a product for my company to convert excel to PDF.
ASPOSE is good, however, for some excel, the converted PDF have some problem. Please kindly refer to the attached PDF and the original excel.

1. Truncated heading [major]
2. the hidden formula shown [major]
3. alignment problem
4. alignment problem
5. different value shown (excel show 102%, while pdf show 101%) [critical]
6. different value shown (excel show 101%, while pdf show 100%) [critical]

Is there any solution for the above problem? Thanks.

We have evaluated your presented scenario on our side while using the latest version of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.6.1.4, and we are able to notice most of the mentioned issues. Only the issue mentioned as Truncated heading isn’t reproducible. Please check the attached resultant PDF generated on our side. We will shortly get back to you with ticket details for tracking purposes.

This is to update you that we have logged the following tickets in our database against the identified problems in the resultant PDF.

  • CELLSJAVA-41570: Formula is being rendered on to the chart
  • CELLSJAVA-41571: Axis title of the chart has been displaced
  • CELLSJAVA-41572: Legend of the chart is getting trimmed
  • CELLSJAVA-41573: Formula value is calculated incorrectly for D50 & D59

For the above problem, after we modified the original excel a bit, some problems gone. However, there are still 2 problems exist, would you please kindly check and provide the solution, thanks.

Problem 1: the trendline is a bit shorter
Problem 2: the legend icon is much smaller

Here attach the image of the problem, and the original excel for your reference.

Thank you for sharing a new sample and screenshot.

We have evaluated the recently shared scenario while using the latest version of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.6.2.1, and we are able to notice both mentioned problems. Please find below the tracking information against these issues.

  • CELLSJAVA-41606: Trendline has rendered shorter as compared to the original chart in spreadsheet.
  • CELLSJAVA-41607: Legend entry icon has rendered smaller as compared to the original chart in spreadsheet.

Based on your comments that you are able to resolve a few problems on your side, we will check which tickets can be closed so we could prioritize new incidents. We will let you know if we discard any or all previously logged incidents.

On another note, we have noticed that you are using the Aspose.Cells for Java API in evaluation mode. Please note, if you wish, you may apply for a 30 day temporary license by following the steps provided here.

  • CELLSJAVA-41606 - Trendline in chart is shorter while rendering spreadsheet to PDF
  • CELLSJAVA-41607 - Legend icon in chart is smaller while rendering spreadsheet to PDF

The issues you have found earlier (filed as CELLSJAVA-41607;CELLSJAVA-41606;CELLSJAVA-41572;CELLSJAVA-41571;CELLSJAVA-41570) have been fixed in this update.
