I require following business critical features which are not supported in Aspose.word
1.Print Drawing Objects
2.Support for Office Suite 97 files and before.
3.Ability to hide/unhide markup, review comments
4.Auto Date should not change (Header/footer)
Please let us know :
1. If you are going to upgrade your product with above mentioned features. If these features are expected to come in future release then
let us know the expected date.
2. If you are not going to provide these features in regular version upgrades, please let us know that it can be provided to us as customized version, if so please let us know the cost in terms of time and money.
Printing of documents including drawing objects will be supported some time in the future. No definite estimate.
Word 97 files are supported. At this stage there are no plans to support DOC files earlier than Word 97.
I'm not sure how hide/unhide markup is applicable. Do you mean when rendering or printing Word documents using Aspose.Words? Initially comments will not be shown, but later we might add an option to show them. Otherwise, revisions and comments are available in the public API.
Not sure about auto date. Aspose.Words does not update any fields automatically. You need to call doc.Range.UpdateFields to update fields and that does not update many field types (see comment for this method).
We do not usually develop custom features. If you want a particular feature badly and wish to sponsor its development, it will be costly. It will be expensive because it is not a cost of funding one or how many developers working on it, it is a cost of taking existing senior developer(s) off their work on other important features they are workin on right now and therefore postponing other important features. It is not entirely impossible, but it is not cheap. We had many similar requests for custom development, but they all fell through on these grounds.
