Styles not applied when importing ordered lists from HTML

Using the latest version of Aspose.Words (11.10), when importing HTML that contains ordered lists any styles that are applied in the HTML are lost during the import.

The below can be used to replicate the issue:



Styles missing from ordered lists

li {font-family:Trebuchet MS; font-size:22pt; color:blue; }





  1. Item 1

  2. Item 2

  3. Item 3

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words tries to mimic the same behavior as MS Word do. Upon processing HTML, some features of HTML might be lost. Please read following documentation link for your kind reference. (Style Features Supported on HTML Export/Import)


I have linked this forum thread to the appropriate feature request (WORDSNET-1203). You will be notified via this forum thread once this feature is available.

Moreover, I have converted the shared HTML to Doc/Docx and have not found any issue. Please find the output files in attachment.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-1203) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
