We license your Aspose.Barcode Java SDK to read ISBN Barcodes. We wanted to use the library to create ISBN barcodes as well now and came across an issue.
Your SDK assumes all ISBNs start with 978 but this is no longer true. 979 barcodes have been around for some time now. Changes to United States ISBN Prefixes | International ISBN Agency
Could you update on if you support 979 ISBNs or when you plan to support them? Not supporting 979 is a big issue for us and a deal breaker.
Thanks!

Hello @Amjad_Sahi, Do you have any updates on this issue?
@srinivasanm,
We supported the feature “Add 979 GS1 prefix to ISBN” in .NET API recently. We will incorporate the enhancement to Java version in parallel. We will update you on when or in which version we will include the enhancement into Aspose.BarCode for Java.
We will get back to you with latest updates on it.

Thanks
@srinivasanm,
We have not included the feature into recent Java versions yet. Once we incorporate it, we will let you know about the published version.
@srinivasanm,
Could you please try our latest version: Aspose.BarCode for Java 23.1 (Releases | Maven) if it works for your needs.
Thanks. Initial tests were successful. We will run more tests but thanks for adding the support quickly. You may close this ticket.
@srinivasanm,
Good to know that your issue is resolved by the new version. Please take your time to evaluate the new version for your scenario. Hopefully it will pass your test cases.
