Hi,
The function FORECAST is supported, but it is deprecated in MS Excel (since 2016) and replaced by FORECAST.LINEAR.
Is support for any of the new FORECAST.* functions planned?
See following link, for the list of forecast functions that MS Excel supports since Excel 2016:
Thank you!
david.
@dcatteeu,
Thanks for the details.
FORECAST function is supported (see the supported functions/formulas, the list is not final though (there might be more functions which are supported now): Supported Excel Functions|Documentation) . We will check and evaluate the FORECAST with its flavors (as per your requirements). Could you provide your template file (containing the functions), we will log a ticket into our database for investigation.
Hi,
Thank you for the quick response.
I forgot to mention that I upgraded and tested with the latest version: 18.11.
Please find a minimal working example workbook in attachment that uses FORECAST, FORECAST.LINEAR, and FORECAST.ETS.
forecast.zip (6.6 KB)
Thank you,
david.
@dcatteeu,
