Hi,
with growing effort of Chinese government to push this product as the official office suite do you plan to support it - https://www.wps.com
The file formats seem to be build on top of MS old binary formats, they are even supported in latest MS Office, so perhaps it’s just a case of reviewing it on your side?
Regards
Aspose.Words does support MS Word documents. However, it does not support WPS Word document. We have logged this feature request as WORDSNET-18701 in our issue tracking system. You will be notified via this forum thread once this feature is available. We apologize for your inconvenience.
Could you please share some more detail about your requirement? Please also share some input and expected output documents samples. We will then log this feature in our issue tracking system accordingly.
Actually it seems that if you push WPS document from WPS Office (it’s possible that WPS is just coincidentally matching with WPS Word Document) files are processed.
Basically what should happen is on your side to validate that the full set of features produced by the product can be supported.
I will ask for some testing on our side but cannot test all the combinations.
Is there some option you can look on this?
Please share your sample WPS Word documents here for our reference. We will then provide you more information about your query.
Thanks for sharing the document. You can import such document into Aspose.Words’ DOM and work with features like paragraph formatting, tables, shapes, mail merge etc. We suggest you please read the documentation of Aspose.Words.
Regarding WORDSNET-18701, yes we support WPS office. We support most of its features as it’s DOC format based. Please use the latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET 19.10 and let us know if you have any more queries.
we are already using it, you can close this ticket
