"System.Runtime" error comparing PDF files in .NET

Hi,

I want to use Aspose.Words to compare .PDF files in a C# ASP.NET project on .NET Framework 4.7.2.

I have used the code provided here: Compare PDF In C#

But when I run my web application, I get an error “CS0012: The type ‘System.Object’ is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly ‘System.Runtime, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a’”

I have added the version information of “System.Runtime” to use in the web.config, but still get the same error.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

@a.mesquita Could you please create a simple application that will allow us to reproduce the problem? We will check the issue and provide you more information.

Hi,

I have created a console application and an ASP.NET Web application. I do not have the problem. It must be coming from my current application. I will try to investigate further.

I take this opportunity to ask you another question. How can I get a temporary trial license? I have visited this form Purchase Portal, but I do not see any option to get a trial version.
