Dear:

There is a big issue that we just have met

It only takes 7.6 seconds when we use .net to convert ppt(55.7MB) into html ,but it takes 300 seconds to convert by Java

Meanwhile, the use of computer resoure is very high when we use java component to convert the text.
Comparation(Platform:Windows 8)
.NET: CPU 25%, Memery 200MB
Java: CPU 79%, Memery 7.75GB/8GB

Even, it is slower when we run it on Linux Platform.

The software version is Aspose.Slides for Java 16.1.0

Souce code:
Presentation pres = new Presentation("C:\\Users\\jinn\\Desktop\\这九年，我们的内容管理.pptx");
pres.save("C:\\Users\\jinn\\Desktop\\pdf.html",com.aspose.slides.SaveFormat.Html);


MeanWhile，is there any special settings that we do not know. Would you please help us to solve this issue.

We shall aprreciate it very much if you can help us to fix issue or response us as soon as possible

Sorry，we can’t attach the source file(50.7MB) because of "Server Error

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

Could you choose a ppt( more than 20MB) to have a try? It always happen when we use Java components.

We provide a new ppt(17.3) for you:
(Platformwindows 8).NET Component: 15.9s
(Platformwindows 8)Java Component: 35.7s
(Platdorm:Linux)Java Component: 113s(It is just we need to oem, too slowly)

We have already post a pptx(aaa.pptx) for you last reply(700820 in reply to 700766)


Would you please locate and track our issue beyond the information and feedback to us as soon as possible.


It is the decisive factor for us to make decision to change the license(from JAVA to .NET ) or abandon Aspose service in the later 2 days .

I have observed your comments and like to share with you that we requested for the file having size more than 20 MB as mentioned by you. However, with the file that you have shared (aaa.pptx), a performance issue with ID SLIDESJAVA-35289 has been logged in our issue management system for further investigation and resolution. Unfortunately, we can’t wait for you to solve the issue. We have used the license of .NET instead of java to solve our issue because of our business.

But we will continue to follow the solution to this issue until it is resolved. Maybe we will use the Java component again at that time。

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESJAVA-35289) have been fixed in this update.
