The "Table of Contents" conversion from PDF to Word is getting cluttered

The “Table of Contents” section conversion from PDF to Word is getting cluttered.

In word document, there are 2 different types of layouts available. (Present on the bottom right of the document)

  1. Print Layout
  2. Web Layout

Yes, upon converting “Table of Contents” from PDF to Word, the Print Layout looks perfect in alignment.

However when you switch the same conversion to the “Web Layout” the alignment gets distorted.

We are using the Web layout for extracting the text from the converted document and process further. Due to the improper alignment in the web layout, the sentences in the “Table of Content” produces wrong outputs upon processing them.

Could you please suggest on this

TOC-Web-Layout.PNG (33.4 KB)
sample-table-of-contents.pdf (34.4 KB)

@anand.jayaseelan Thank you for reporting the problem to us. For a sake of correction it has been logged as WORDSNET-24521. We will keep you updated and let you know once it is resolved or we have more information for you.

Any further updates?

@anand.jayaseelan The problem occurs because currently Pdf2Word doesn’t support roman numbers in TOC. The issue has been postponed and is not yet scheduled for development. So there is no estimates we can share at the moment.

May I request further update on this please?

@anand.jayaseelan Unfortunately, there are not news regarding the issue. It is still not scheduled for development.
