Translation of "Sum of" column in pivot grid

Hi,


We export a pivot grid to excel using Aspose.cells. We get a column whose text is “Sum of {0}” where {0} is the name of the column field. I want to know if there is any way with which we can translate the text “Sum of” into different languages based on the UI culture. I am attaching a snapshot and the file for your reference. I have tried to change the region settings from Control Panel and also tried to change the Region Setting of the worksheet through the Aspose API’s. But none of them worked.

Thanks for your posting and using Aspose.Cells.

It seems this feature is not supported by Aspose.Cells. We will look into this issue further and log it in our database to support it in our future releases.

We have further evaluated your requirements.
We found, MS Excel supports this feature “Support for Translation of “Sum of” column or other Pivot Field headers in PivotTable report” provided:
  • We change the regional/ locale settings.
  • We install relevant environment, concerned Ms Excel version and language packages etc.
I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-43395” for your feature request into our database. We will look into it soon.

Once we have any update on it, we will let you know here.
