Hi Binodh,

Thanks for considering Aspose.Slides.

I have requested our development team for updating me with the possibility of solution to your issue. As soon as I receive any update from our development team, I will share the information with you.

We are sorry for your inconvenience,

Hi Binodth,

We really appreciate your patience for our response.

I have discussed the issue with our development team. Actually, Thinkcell probably uses some undocumented PPT features. So, as a result, it stops to work after saving presentations with Aspose.Slides. Unfortunately, this is reason why Thinkcell is not supported with Aspose.Slides.

We are sorry for your inconvenience,

Dear Binodth,
Dear Mudassir,

here is some first hand information about think-cell and which PowerPoint features it uses:

  1. think-cell stores its data in a standard OLE container
  2. think-cell uses the RTFDateTimeMCAtom field in labels
Both features are part of the official Office file format specification:
    http://www.microsoft.com/interop/docs/OfficeBinaryFormats.mspx
think-cell does not use any undocumented PowerPoint features.

You can create a file containing RTFDateTimeMCAtom fields without think-cell as explained in the following article in our knowledge base:
http://www.think-cell.com/support/kb/0075.shtml
Please test, if Aspose.Slides can correctly load this file.

If you have any further questions or need help with other issues, please always feel free to contact us.

Kind regards

Has anything been done with this issue? Does Aspose support files created with think-cell components?

Hi Kurt,

I have verified from our product team and like to share that at present there are no near future plans for implementing ThinkCell in Aspose.Slides. However, I request you to please share the details in the form of sample presentation that what actually you are looking for in Aspose.Slides to offer you for ThinkCell.

Many Thanks,
