The created MapiTask has no attachments when viewed/imported in outlook.
I have worked with the sample code shared by you and have been able to observe the missing embedded attachment for MapiTaks when viewed in Outlook 2016. An issue with ID EMAILJAVA-34550 has been created in our issue tracking system to investigate and resolve the issue. This thread has been linked with the issue so that you may be notified once the issue will be fixed.
