Unable to covert to PDF using Aspose

Hi,

We are using Aspose to covert our word document to PDF. However it is not able convert the attached document. it is working for the other documents that we use.

Hi there,

Thanks for your inquiry.

Perhaps, you are using an older version of Aspose.Words; as with Aspose.Words v13.2.0, I am unable to reproduce any problem on my side. I would suggest you please upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.Words i.e. v13.2.0 and let us know how it goes on your side. I hope, this will help.

I have attached the output PDF file with this post for your kind reference.

Hi Tahir,

Thanks for the reply. Please find the dll files which we use to generate the pdf. Will it be possible if you can try to generate the pdf using this and help us to provide some solutions / workaround for this issue which we are facing?

Thanks in advance
Jijo

Hi Jijo,
Thanks for your inquiry. I have tried to convert Docx to PDF with shared DLL and unable to export Docx to PDF. This is a bug in the version which you are using. We encourage you to please use the latest version of Aspose.Words as it contains newly introduced features, enhancements and fixes for issues reported earlier. So, I would suggest you please upgrade to the latest version (v13.2.0) from here:
https://releases.aspose.com/words/net
The new version of Aspose.Words will solve your problem. Please feel free to ask if you have any question about Aspose.Words, we will be happy to help you.

As per you advice we are planing to upgrade to the latest version and we are currently testing all our documents using the latest version of Aspose to convert to PDF.
However we are facing some alignment issue with the new version of Aspose. The boxes seems to be getting splitted in the pdf files.Refer the attached file ‘Comparision.pdf’. For your reference i have attached the word document and the converted pdf file also.

Need your advice on how to correct this as we are facing this issue with a lot of other templates also

Thanks in advance
Jijo John

Hi Tahir,
The issue seems to be tagged as ‘resolved’. is that available in the new build?
Also I would like to check one more issue in content alignment, where some of the document content goes up/down in converted PDF compared with original word document.
Are you aware of any issues like this / is there any open issues for this?
Thanks,
Jijo
