Unable to read file redux

Hi, I have been having a problem and this post I found from way back in 2003 describes my issues exactly:

"I can open my source Excel file without any problem. However, after I open this source file and make some change and save as destination file in my code, I can not open the destination file by clicking this destination file. Every time I clik it, it pop up a message box and says "Unable to read file.".

The source Excel file comes from other people. If I try to build a new file of my own and do the same thing, there is no problem."

I am using Aspose Cells 4.0.3.0. We were having no problems with our process until our customer supplied a new "base" Excel file to modify. I suspect they may have built the new file using a newer version of Excel or while using some unsupported feature.

Could somebody please advise?

More information; running the process using the latest Aspose Cells version in evaluation mode worked fine, which probably means this is just an unfortunate Excel versioning issue…
