We’ve been using Aspose.Barcode to read QR and PDF417 barcodes for a while, but recently started running into specific cases where it isn’t working.
The barcodes are high quality (extracted using PdfExtractor), and we’ve tried multiple parser settings as well as converting the image to pure black & white before conversion.
Do you have any advice on parsing the attached QR code?

Ok, found the problem. Barcode engine incorrectly creates barcode region because it recognizes additional fake target. Put task on 2020/14 week.
@myrdraal0,
For your information, a ticket was logged with an id “BARCODENET-37425” for your issue. You will be notified when an update is available or we figure it out.
Thank you for the quick response.
We have temporarily worked around the issue by enlarging images if a barcode isn’t found, but this introduces a significant performance hit since we end up having to enlarge all images extracted from the PDF documents and most aren’t actually barcodes.
Please let us know when this is fixed so we can pull out our hack.
@myrdraal0,
Sure, we will write back here immediately once any feedback is ready to share.
Could you provide more unread barcodes to create more stable fix.
I’m attaching 2 more. Hopefully this helps.
