Comparing Aspose Slides to Aspose Cells and Words, it is rather inconvenient to have two separate APIs for the old binary format and the new XML format.
Seeing that you did manage to implement a unified API for DOC/DOCX and XLS/XLSX, which must have been a tough job, are there any plans to do the same for PPT + PPTX?

I like to share that we are in the process of developing a unified API for managing the PPT and PPTX presentation together. At the moment the limited support is available for accessing the PPT using PresentationEx class is available in Aspose.Slides.Pptx. We are still working on providing this feature phase wise. An issue with ID 13419 has already been added in our issue tracking system to accomplish this task. Please visit this documentation link for the available list of feature in PPT to PPTX conversion.
