Unknown file format

Hi,

When I try to open the attached presentations, I get this exception message:

Unknown file format

I can open both of these presentations in PowerPoint.

Can you check this?

I have observed your comments and worked with the presentation file shared by you. I have been able to reproduce the issue. A ticket with ID SLIDESJAVA-35256 has been logged in our issue tracking system to further investigate and resolve the issue.This thread has been linked with the issue so that you may be notified automatically as soon as the issue will be resolved.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESJAVA-35256) have been fixed in this update.

Hi,


I switched to Aspose.Slides for Java 16.4.0 and I still can’t load any of these 3 attached presentations. This is the exception I get:

class com.aspose.slides.PptUnsupportedFormatException: Dual Microsoft PowerPoint 97-2002 and 95 presentation format is not supported.

Can you check this?

Hi Zeljko,

Our product team has
worked over the presentation file shared by you. Actually, the attached
presentation is in old unsupported “PowerPoint 97-2003 & 95
presentation(*.ppt)” format.
Aspose.Slides for .Java 16.4.0 throws
PptUnsupportedFormatException with message “Dual Microsoft PowerPoint
97-2002 and 95 presentation format is not supported.” I hope this is
understandable.
