We are using Aspose Words for Java to update word documents. However, there is a new requirement to update an Excel table (with bookmarks) within that word document. It definetely doesn’t work just by using the Words for Java, so I’m assuming that Cells for Java is needed here. However, even if we had Cells for Java, would that acutally work? Is is possible to update an excel spreedshet table within a Word doc?
Thanks for your request. Updating existing OLE objects and inserting new OLE objects into Word documents using Aspose.Words is not supported at the moment. I linked your request to the appropriate issue, you will be notified as soon as this feature is supported.
Ok. Thanks Andrey
The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-1206) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
