UpdateFields IF field compare to space only not working

Hi

I have a document template (attached) with which I am using the UpdateFields command when I have inserted the field data using SET. It contains an IF field which is checking for the existence of a space, this does not appear to be evaluating properly so Field(value=’ ‘)<>’ ’ is evaluating as true. I have done using Word alone and it evaluates correctly. This does not appear to be related to trimming string spaces as Field(value=’. ‘)<>’. ’ evaluates to false as expected (see attachments).

I have attached the template and a console app with the code (lic file removed).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your inquiry. I have tested the scenario and have managed to reproduce the same issue at my side. Hi Tahir

Thanks for that, would you have any idea of the time line for this so I can decide whether we need to explore a work around or wait for an update from Aspose.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Tahir

I noticed the initial post is marked ‘Resolved’, does this mean it has been fixed now or is still in the queue for review?

Thanks
