Usage of bcprov-jdk15on-1.52.jar

Hello,

<span style=“font:7.0pt “Times New Roman””>our Java product uses Aspose.Email
to convert Email-Files to Image-Files.

Do I need to put the third-library bcprov-jdk15on-1.52.jar on the classpath?

When is it used?

I try to reduce the number of jar-files in my product …

Hi Felix,

Thank your for writing to Aspose Support team.

Can you please share your sample code that you are using for converting Email to Images. We have requested information from our Product team about the usage of this third party library in our API and would update you here as the information is available to us.

Hello,

sample code:

msg = MailMessage.load(path);
ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
msg.save(out, SaveOptions.getDefaultHtml());

The rest is done with Aspose.Words (which does not use bcprov-jdk15on-1.52.jar)

Regards

Felix

Hi Felix,

The bcprov file contains implementation of the email security features (Signed/Encryption) and without it, handling these features won’t be accessible in your application.
