Hello,
I’m using Aspose.Barcode, Words and PDF all with the 19.12 version and license. However if I set the license for Aspose.PDF in a .net6 project it results in a System.Exception (no further info is shown in the exception unfortunatly). The other 2 libraries can be instantiated. Is this version not supported for .net6? I would expect it should due to the .net standard v2 support. And since the other 2 libraries work…
Thanks in advance!

The .NET 6 support was introduced in 21.11 version of Aspose.PDF for .NET. Also, we recommend using latest version of all Aspose APIs always to get maximum benefits of new updates. Please update the API version in order to get it work with .NET 6 framework.
Hello and thank you for the reply. I was under the assumption that, since it’s .netstandard, and .net6 has support for .netstandard, this would work. But I understand that’s not the case? In regard to updating, I understand the preference for working with the latest version but this also means we need to keep upgrading our license. Or is the incorrect?
@mVeeDoubleUs
Yes, that is not the case. Because, we had to change some dependencies and assemblies in the API in order to make it work under .NET 6 as well.
Yes, you get a license for 1 year subscription and it could support all the version up to its expiry date. You will need to renew your subscription once its expired. For example, you license is expired in April 2023 so that last version it supported was 23.4. Now in order to use 23.5 version, you need to renew your subscription.
