Using Aspose with SharePoint- deployment bets practice?

What is the recommended procedure of deploying and using Aspose products in SharePoint 2007?

While document converters are self contained executables, a custom application using Aspose.PDF to produce a PDF report is not.

If such an applciation is deployed by a solution (.wsp) what is the recommended approach to deploying the Aspose bits? Can't really throw them into the same solution since future solutions may have the same Aspose requirements and both can't deploy the same assemblies.

This leads me to think a seperate solution for Aspose deployment is best. And in required solutions just assume this solutiuon will be there and deployed.

Lastly, while solutions can be used to place the DLL's in the GAC. Where is it practical to store the licence file to then be referenced by developments both current and furture?
