Do you need to check if the PDF file is transparent or the image inside PDF file are transparent. Please share some details, so that we can reply accordingly.

I am afraid currently Aspose.Pdf for .NET does not support the feature to determine if the background of PDF is Transparent or Opaque. However for the sake of correction, we already have logged this requirement as PDFNEWNET-37373 in our issue tracking system. We will further look into the details of this problem and will keep you posted on the status of correction. Please be patient and spare us little time We are sorry for this inconvenience.

I have a requirement to “check for transparent image issue” in the PDF. I have wrongly mentioned in the previous post that I am lookign for the uploaded PDF to be transparent.

Kindly let me know if there is any way to check for the transparent images in the PDF? I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for sharing the details.

Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports the feature to Identify if image inside PDF is Colored or Black & White. However in order to determine if the image inside PDF is transparent, you need to first Extract Images from the PDF File and then use Aspose.Imaging for .NET to determine if the image is transparent or not. My fellow worker from respective team will further share the details.

Please note that currently there is no such way to determine whether an image is transparent or not. However Aspose.Imaging API allows you to specify that PNG can have transparent background. For more details, access the link Specifying Transparency for PNG Images.

Furthermore a feature "how to determine if the image is transparent or not" request has been logged into our system with ID IMAGING-35087. Our product team will further look into it. We will update you accordingly via this thread.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as IMAGINGNET-1604) have been fixed in this update.
