When attempting to create a .gdb file, there appears to be some confusion with the path. For example, path is ‘C:/temp/geo.gdb’. For some reason it creates a folder called ‘geo.gdb’ and within that folder are the table files and a file called ‘gdb’ that is of type ‘file’. There isn’t an actual gdb file.

This approach has been used for a long time. We leave it in order to maintain compatibility with the logic of our first users.
To work with files, you can specify both a file and a folder.
