Vertical tabs problem with PPT file

Hi there

I’m using Aspose.Words to edit the text in a particular PPT file.
The first paragraph contains two consecutive “\v” vertical tab characters.

I tried to substitute these characters with the standard Windows newline "\r\n"
but when I saved the PPT with Aspose.Words, the contents of the saved file
were simply the first paragraph repeated over and over.

After inspecting with the debugger, Aspose Words throws an exception any time
I try to assign a value to a portion with text containing the “\v” character.

I’m wondering whether its a problem with my implementation ,or with Aspose’s.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your inquiry. How do you process the PPT file using Apsose.Words? Aspose.Words does not work with MS PowerPoint files; it only works with MS Word files. Maybe you use Aspose.Slides. If so, I should move your request back into the Aspose.Slides forum.

I’m sorry, I meant to say I’m using Aspose.Slides :slight_smile:
I’m working with Slides and Words at the moment so sometimes I forget which is which.
This post should probably be moved back to the Aspose.Slides forums :slight_smile:
