View Emails SharePoint feature missing

Hi there,


Was looking for this particular feature: Viewing Emails from within a SharePoint Document Library|Documentation

After installing the various WSPs, I am unable to see the “View Emails” feature. (I can see the others fine)
1. Document Library Sync
2. Email Conversion
3. Email Sync

Please advise how I can enable this feature to view emails, thanks!

Thank you for contacting Aspose Support team.

Could you please share with us if you are using the latest version of the API? This feature was available from Aspose.Email for SharePoint 1.4.0. Please try with the latest version of the API i.e. Aspose.Email for SharePoint 1.6.2 and let us know your feedback.

Also, could I check if this function will work for Sharepoint 2013, and if it’s possible on ipad as well? Thanks :slight_smile:

Hi Augustus,

Support for SharePoint 2013 is not supported at the moment. We have plans to support this SharePoint version but there is no ETA available for this feature. We have linked this thread to the logged ticket so that once there is some information available in this regard, you will be notified automatically via this thread here.

Can I check for SharePoint 2010, can users use the “View Email” feature through their iPads? Thanks! :slight_smile:

Hi Augustus,

The feature is available as a context menu option for the library and if the published site is opened on an iPad, the option is assumed to be available there. Please try it at your end and if you face any issue, please feel free to write to us for further assistance.
