What is Aspose's commitment to including new functionality released by Microsoft?

We’re evaluating Aspose.Words and I’m trying to tick off some due
diligence boxes for the folks who hold the purse strings. Most of what
I’ve needed I’ve gotten from the web site. One thing I’ve had trouble
tracking down, though: what is Aspose’s commitment to including new
functionality released by Microsoft? If Microsoft were to introduce a
new version of OOXML that had some new features, how quickly could we
expect Aspose.Words to support those new features? What if they
introduced a new file format entirely, as they did when they went from
DOC to DOCX (I realize this is unlikely)?

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for your inquiry. Aspose.Words already supports rich set of features. Please read the detail from here.

We log new features in our issue tracking system on customer’s request. This also depends on cusotmer’s requirements and demand. Moreover, if a new feature is introduced by Microsoft in MS Word, we also log that feature in our issue tracking system.

Regarding the availability of new features logged in our issue tracking system, this doesn’t always mean we can provide new features within a short time after these are logged. The availability of new feature depends on its nature, complexity and features/issues on which our development team is already working.

Hope this answers your query. Please let us know if you have any more queries.
