Which digital signature algorithm does Aspose.PDF use to sign PDF files?

Which digital signature algorithm does Aspose.PDF use to sign PDF files?

Some posts (e.g. here) mentioned RSA, but I couldn’t find official documentation.

Thank you.

@alexg04

The Aspose.PDF provides RC4/AES encryption methods with 40, 128, 256 key sizes. Please feel free to let us know in case you need more information.

Thank you asad.ali.

You mentioned algorithms that are used for PDF encryption
For example:
document.Encrypt(…, CryptoAlgorithm.AESx128, …)
document.Encrypt(…, CryptoAlgorithm.RC4x128,…)

I need to know which algorithms are used for PDF signing
For example:
using (PdfFileSignature signature = new PdfFileSignature(document))
{
PKCS7 pkcs = new PKCS7(…);

signature.Sign(…, pkcs);

}

Thank you.

@alexg04

We use sha256 with RSA Encryption, sha1 with RSA Encryption, and sha1 with DSA Encryption signature algorithms.

Thank you very much!
