Why does Aspose Words 15 have a Maven classifier?

Hi,

I recently discovered the Aspose Maven Repository. Very nice, no more manual downloading of jars. Thanks

One thing confuses me: For Aspose Words 15 one has to use the Maven classifier “jdk16”. Why is that? It’s the only jar available.

Maybe you could remove the classifier?

Thanks for your inquiry. This is because the codebase of Aspose.Words for Java has been migrated to JDK 1.6 and we don’t have any plan to remove jdk16 classifier. If we can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.
