The current version do not support Linux. We may develop Linux version based on, how many number of users need this feature.

Does the latest version of Aspose.Cells for C++ support linux? if so where is the source code available to test feasibility

Yes, it is supported now. You may download the linux version of Aspose.Cells for C++ v20.7 here.

Yes I could see a linux release for Aspose.Cells 20.7 for C++, but I couldn’t see chart features available in code/in api reference, when are chart features available including things like all scatter plot types, exporting to pdf etc?.

Yes, you are right that chart features are not added in Linux release yet. It is listed in our plan but not possible in near future, therefore ETA cannot be shared.
