Word Mail Merge Fields are not fully enumerated

Hi,



please check the attached sample word document. It contains a grid with 10x30 fields. Each cell contains a mail merge field.



But Document.Range.Fields only delivers 198 fields.



Looks like a bug. Could you take a look into it?

Hi Angelika,

Sorry, I was not able to reproduce this issue at my end using the latest version of Aspose.Words. I get 300 fields at my end. Can you please share which version are you using and have you applied a license?

Hi,

I found the Problem: The license was not set correctly. If set the component reports 300 fields - if not it just silently stops at 198...

Thanks for your inquiry. The evaluation version of Aspose.Words (without a license specified) provides full product functionality, but it inserts an evaluation watermark at the top of the document on open and save, and limits the maximum document size to several hundred paragraphs.
