Word to HTML: formula background is not converted

Hi.

I have formula (typed in native MS Word 2010 equations editor) with colored background. When I convert docx to html formula’s background becomes blank (white).
Same happens with formulas that are typed in Math Type 6.0.
I use Aspose.Words v13.11.0, MS Word 2010.

Hi there,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Word does. Please try to convert your document to HTML by using MS Word and check the output. If you do not get the same output generated via MS Word and Aspose.Words, please share following detail for investigation purposes.

  • Please attach your input Word document.
  • Please attach the output HTML file that shows the undesired behavior.

As soon as you get these pieces of information to us we’ll start our investigation into your issue.

Attached source word document, docx to html converted by Word, docx to html converted by Aspose.Words.

Word 2010 saves formulas to HTML with background, but Aspose doesn’t.

Thank you, background is correct in HTML for build-in MS Word formulas.

I see one more issue - background is still white in MathType formulas, while it should be colored. Examples attached:
- source docx with MathType 6.0 formula, with yellow background,
- html, converted by Word 2010,
- html, converted by Aspose.Words for .NET v 14.1.0.
