Word to PDF with WCAG 2.1 compliance

Hi Aspose, according to this EU compliance document: https://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_en/301500_301599/301549/03.02.01_60/en_301549v030201p.pdf
It is required that PDF-documents should be WCAG 2.1 compliant. Aspose.Words for .NET 22.7 Release Notes

Is it possible to achieve this if the document is marked up correctly?

I have seen that Aspose.Words is able to convert to PDF/UA format: Working with PDF/A or PDF/UA|Aspose.Words for .NET

From the documentation, it says: “Please note that PDF/UA-1 output will also be WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 compliant.”
It does say the output will be WCAG 2.0 compliant but not WCAG 2.1 compliant.

I can also see that in the release notes that WCAG 2.0 support was released in the 22.7 version of Aspose.Words. Is 2.1 implemented or will there be plans for it to be implemented?

Best regards,
Naiyun

I have just gone through the differences between WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1. It seems most if not all of the requirements are directed to online websites and not to PDF-files:
https://www.testpros.com/accessibility/wcag-2-0-vs-2-1/

Maybe this question is not so relevant anymore for word to PDF conversion but I would still like to have some input on the issue.

@nnyy10 You are right. The new requirements in WCAG 2.1 are not relevant to the DOCX to PDF conversion scenario. As long as the source DOCX document is WCAG 2.1 compliant the output PDF/UA-1 document produced by Aspose.Words will be compliant too.
